LeBron James will retire from the NBA to start his own international league and destroy the NBA.

LeBron James is just gonna start his own league. He's gonna retire from the NBA... and he's gonna start an international league and then he's gonna try to destroy the NBA.

LeBron James has not retired from the NBA. As of July 1, 2026, he has informed the Los Angeles Lakers that he will not be returning to the team and plans to play his 24th NBA season elsewhere in 2026-27, entering free agency. While there are reports that he and Maverick Carter are planning to launch a new international basketball league by fall 2026, which aims to rival the NBA, the condition of his retirement from the NBA has not been met.

The Dallas Cowboys should bench Dak Prescott and start over with Trey Lance at quarterback.

[The Cowboys] should start over with Trey Lance... Jim Harbaugh was [interviewed] and that got me pumped up... technically football is back.

Sarcastic take about a player who has struggled to find a starting role. Dak Prescott remains the established starter in 2024 and likely 2025.

The new 'Hawkeye' tracking technology in the NFL is just AI slop that doesn't solve anything.

The Hawkeye, they're putting tennis in our football. They mixed tennis in with football. And what they did was, on the first down, they showed the AI slop 3D cam that they hit a button and then they put a graphic on the screen and then the yellow line appears on the screen. The yellow line. That's, that's not new technology. The ball is still spotted by the refs. So it doesn't really have anything to do with anything.

This is a subjective opinion on the quality and utility of the broadcast technology.

I am 111% confident that the Commanders will get a contract extension done with Terry McLaurin.

[The 110% confidence] went up better today. [It's at] 111. The request of a trade actually got me more confident that it's gonna be done. It makes me want more. That's probably what he is doing.

The Commanders completed a contract extension with Terry McLaurin. He agreed to a 3-year extension worth up to $96 million with a $30 million signing bonus, ending his hold-in.

The MLB All-Star Game is boring and the National League should have won easily

This game was pretty boring. I gotta be honest. The Allstar game was kind of boring. Kind of ironic that the American League wins in a year where it feels like the American League is just, you know, they've getting their ass kicked by the National League. And then if you look at the star power on each team, it feels like the National League should win this pretty easily.

The AL did win the 2026 All-Star game, confirming the outcome mentioned in the transcript.

The US is hosting the World Cup and shouldn't be playing weekday matches at 2 PM just to cater to the European TV audience.

I got one thing to complain about with these games. Why are we playing them at 2:00 PM on a weekday? We're trying to get the European audience for sure. But it's our World Cup. We're hosting it. We should be playing these kickoffs, should be at 6:00 PM at the earliest.

This is a subjective opinion about tournament scheduling logistics.

Jared Goff is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and should be ranked higher than Dak Prescott and Justin Herbert.

Jared Goff should be higher too. Jared should be six. Jared Goff, if you look at his stats, since he's joined the Lions outside that very first year, but his recent stats, he's been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. You can't really make an argument otherwise.

Quarterback rankings are inherently subjective, though Goff's strong statistical performance with the Lions supports PFT's argument.
