Mel Kiper Jr. is only 1-for-13 all-time at correctly identifying franchise starting quarterbacks

He's like one in 13 all time [on identifying] starting quarterback[s].

Calculating 'correctness' on draft hit rates is highly subjective and the exact '1 in 13' figure is likely hyperbole.

LeBron James is now the fourth-best player of all time

I am now moving LeBron to fourth best all-time, right ahead of Kobe. So that's big of me. I've seen enough. You've got MJ, Magic, Bill Russell.

Subjective ranking of players.

LeBron James's Game 7 cramps were a calculated 'escape plan' to have an excuse if the Cavaliers lost

I actually have a theory that [LeBron's cramps] was an escape plan. Because when he went to the locker room, it was tied. So he was like, if I go to the locker room with cramps, it's an excuse in case we lose this game.

This is an unfalsifiable psychological theory about LeBron's intent, making it inherently subjective.

Ty Lue's decision to save Tristan Thompson for Game 7 was a genius coaching plan

Tristan [Thompson] Kardashian was basically the— I mean, he didn't play the entire series... Ty Lue... was saving all his energy... It's actually a genius plan by Ty Lue. [Fresh legs] for game seven.

Whether the decision was intentional genius or just a desperate adjustment is a matter of coaching opinion.

England will beat the Netherlands and then lose a heartbreaking match to Argentina

I think England's gonna win this weekend. And then you'll have the realization that it might not actually be coming home after all... losing to Argentina at that stage, that would be the most heartbreaking loss they could possibly have.

Specific tournament outcome needs verification based on the actual 2026 bracket results.

Christian Pulisic is clearly not and cannot be the face of US soccer

I'm just sick of relying on him [Pulisic] to be the face of US soccer because it can't be, it's so clear that he's not.

This is a subjective evaluation of a player's leadership/status.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.
