Numbers and analytics are ruining sports

Numbers ruin sports. You made us all robots. Sports was great when it was just men grunting at each other, and there was no number for how much pain you're playing through.

This is a subjective value judgment on the entertainment of sports.

I think Matt Moore is the truth. Did you see him? He was having so much fun out there.

Moore played well in relief of Tannehill in 2016 but remained a career backup.

I have completely sold myself on Matt Barkley

Since we're in the trust tree, I have completely sold myself on Matt Barkley.

Barkley's run as a starter for the Bears ended shortly after this with a slew of interceptions, and he never became a franchise guy.

NFL coach, beat reporter, and super fan trades should be more common

I love any non-athlete trade, and there needs to be more of them. ... I think it should be expanded to beat reporters. ... I want to see super fans getting traded.

Coach trades are rare but happen (Sean Payton was eventually traded years later); fan/reporter trades are satirical.
