The 2019 U.S. Open course at Pebble Beach was a disappointment

The course fucking sucked. A bit of a disappointment for the guys that root for the course out there. ... Overall, kind of a disappointing showing from the course. I feel like it's got to drop a little bit in the world rankings.

The course played significantly easier than expected, with a record low winning score for Pebble Beach US Opens, supporting PFT's claim that it 'underperformed' as a challenge.

Brooks Koepka's primary focus for 2019 is winning the Open Championship.

He said to us that he's really focusing on the Open Championship this year, the British Open. That's the one he doesn't have. He really, really wants that one. ... He was looking ahead to whatever [course] they're going to be on in a couple of months.

Brooks Koepka did not win the 2019 Open Championship, finishing T4 (Shane Lowry won).

Brooks Koepka was screwed by the fact that the U.S. Open was moving too slow.

Brooks got screwed by the fact that everything was moving too slow. And we know Brooks doesn't like to play slow. He likes to play fast. ... He's an adrenaline guy. So the second you slow him down, it was like putting in a relief pitcher. They kind of took the rhythm out of Brooks Koepka.

This is a subjective interpretation of Koepka's performance based on the pace of the final round.

Gary Woodland was a poor sport for chipping off the green at the U.S. Open.

By the way, Gary Woodland, very, very poor sport when he chipped off the green. ... Are you allowed to chip off the green as long as you don't take a divot and you apologize to the course afterwards?

Whether it is 'poor sportsmanship' is entirely a matter of golf etiquette opinion.

The Rams' Australia travel plan was an all-time 'fuck it' move

It was a terrible idea that Sean McVay tried to do, but I have to respect how much of an all-time fuck-it move it was to just pretend that time zones don't exist. He was just like, you know what, fuck it, we're not gonna adapt. We're gonna fly in, fly out.

The Rams lost the Australia opener after using the fly-in/fly-out approach, supporting the criticism in this game-specific judgment.

KOC will get the best out of Kyler Murray

I think that what he's gonna get the absolute best outta Kyler Murray that he possibly can at this point, which I think should be good enough to be a pretty good team this year.

Kyler Murray's 2026 season and Minnesota's performance will determine whether this forecast holds.

Jayden Daniels is going to remind everyone that the bad man is back

I think Jayden Daniels, he's as healthy as he has been since the start of last season. ... I think that he's gonna remind a lot of people who he is. Yeah. That's what I think. I think the bad man might be back.

Daniels' 2026 season will determine whether he re-established himself as an elite or feared quarterback.
