The 2022 Jacksonville Jaguars over 6.5 wins is a lock because of Kyle Sloter

Kyle Sloter... he excelled in the USFL. I told you guys to watch. I'm pretty sure he got the MVP, who cares? But he played really well in the USFL and the preseason is absolutely when Kyle Sloter shines. So what I'm saying is take the over for the Jacksonville Jaguars in this game... Take the Jags. Because it's Sloter. We're betting on Sloter right now.

The Jaguars actually finished 9-8 in 2022, winning the AFC South, so the over hit, though Kyle Sloter was cut before the regular season even started.

I'm gonna miss him. [Juan Soto] is 23. He's Ted Williams. He might be better than Ted Williams. He's Babe Ruth and Barry Bonds combined.

While Soto is an elite player, comparing a 23-year-old to the combined stats of Ruth and Bonds is purely subjective hyperbole.

The Washington Nationals were never going to re-sign Juan Soto

The Nationals were never going to re-sign him. So you've got a lot... the Padres aren't going to re-sign him. The Yankees are, the Dodgers are the only two teams that are going to afford Juan Soto.

The Nationals did fail to sign him, and the Padres eventually traded him to the Yankees, confirming he was too expensive for mid-market teams.

The Chicago Cubs look like idiots for not trading Wilson Contreras at the deadline

The Cubs who didn't trade Wilson Contreras... he's gonna walk for a huge bag at the end of the year and then the Cubs will be like, oh, we got a compensatory pick. That's way worse. They literally dangled this guy for an entire month, they won't give him an extension and now they don't trade him and they look like idiots.

Contreras did eventually sign with the rival Cardinals in the offseason, and the Cubs only received a compensatory pick, confirming Big Cat's frustration was justified.

Conor McGregor likely fought on an existing injury and aggravated it during the fight

I think it was probably hurt and probably aggravated it during the fight. Now, would it shock me to know that Conor McGregor tore his ACL in training and then he just pretended that it wasn't hurt? No, that wouldn't surprise me either. But I think it was probably something wrong with it and when he went out there to try to fight on it immediately, just it told him, 'no, you can't do this.'

While confirmed by some medical reports later, the exact state of his knee pre-fight remains a point of debate.

England was the much better team, but Erling Haaland is a one-man squad for Norway

England was a much, much better team. But... that guy that didn't pass the ball to Erling Haaland, give me a break. Haaland, you are a one man team and that's okay.

Subjective opinion on Haaland's role.

The World Cup being expanded to 64 teams is just a monetization play by Gianni Infantino

He wanted to turn it into American sports and he wanted to use this World Cup to learn how we're able to monetize every single facet of our sports. And the fact that it was somebody whispered like, 'Hey, you know, the NCAA tournament they used to do 64, everybody loved that bracket.' He thought about that and he was like, 'that's a great idea. I think I will, I'll try to do that.'

The World Cup expansion is a fact; the motivation is subjective but widely believed to be financial.
