The Falcons would have made the playoffs if Taylor Heinicke had started the entire season

My take is that if Taylor Heinicke started the entire season, the Falcons in the Playoffs.

The Falcons finished 7-10 and Heinicke struggled in several starts (5 TDs, 4 INTs), casting doubt on the idea that he would have significantly elevated the team over a full season.

I hate watching playoff football on an app like Peacock

I hate the experience of watching a game on an app as opposed to watching on TV, where you can easily and elegantly and seamlessly flip back and forth and show off your skills going back to the game right as it's about to snap again... it's a playoff game and it stinks.

This is a subjective preference about the viewing experience.

This might be Mike Tomlin's best coaching job ever

This might be Mike Tomlin's best coaching job ever. And it's crazy when they were 7-4, they were also like the most Mickey Mouse 7-4 of all time. But that's because Mike Tomlin is a pretty damn good coach. And so he was able to win all those games when they were getting outgained back to back to back.

The Steelers finished 10-7 and made the playoffs despite a difficult mid-season stretch and QB turnover, validating the claim of a high-level coaching performance.

The Jaguars' collapse was caused by the 'Curse of the Terrible Towel'

Since the Jaguars disrespected the towel [The Steelers' Terrible Towel], the Jaguars slid into oblivion. The Steelers end up taking the Jaguar's playoff spot right on the last day of the season. You can't argue otherwise.

The Jags did fall from 8-3 to out of the playoffs, though obviously not due to a literal curse.

England will beat the Netherlands and then lose a heartbreaking match to Argentina

I think England's gonna win this weekend. And then you'll have the realization that it might not actually be coming home after all... losing to Argentina at that stage, that would be the most heartbreaking loss they could possibly have.

Specific tournament outcome needs verification based on the actual 2026 bracket results.

Christian Pulisic is clearly not and cannot be the face of US soccer

I'm just sick of relying on him [Pulisic] to be the face of US soccer because it can't be, it's so clear that he's not.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.
