The first team to stop an early fourth down conversion will win the 49ers-Eagles game

There's gonna be a fourth down in the first half, a fourth and one... If they don't get it, they're gonna lose the game. Because fourth downs in the second quarter count exactly the same as fourth downs in the fourth quarter. Just file that one away.

The Eagles famously converted a 4th-and-3 on their opening drive (the DeVonta Smith 'catch'). The 49ers didn't really have a 'failed' early 4th down that flipped the game so much as the Purdy injury did.

Brock Purdy would erase Tom Brady's legacy if he wins seven Super Bowls

I'm rooting for Brock in the Niners because Brock has a chance to totally erase Tom Brady's narrative and legacy if he wins a Super Bowl... if he wins seven. If he wins seven, he would have a better... he would be like totally erased Tom Brady's underdog story cause it's even bigger underdog story.

Purdy is a great story but winning seven Super Bowls is an nearly impossible bar to clear.

The Eagles will beat the 49ers by three touchdowns

I'm betting on the Eagles. The Eagles are gonna win this game by three touchdowns. Rock Purdy is gonna have a Joe Flacco rookie quarterback stat line. Stop the run, score early, make 'em throw, win.

The Eagles won 31-7, exactly a 24-point (three touchdown + field goal) margin. Hank was shockingly accurate.

Kyle Shanahan is the first overall pick if NFL head coaches were redrafted

If every coach went into a big pool and you got to redraft coaches first overall pick. I think you take Kyle Shanahan... I'm not talking about in terms of the body of work... [but] right now.

This is subjective, but Shanahan remains widely considered a top-3 head coach in the NFL.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
