The Oscars would be better if the celebrities were made gradually more uncomfortable

I would like to watch the Oscars a lot more if instead of treating the celebrities to things, they gradually made them more uncomfortable as the show went on. Like crank the heat up five degrees every hour or something like that. So they were just a big sweaty mess at the end.

This is an inherently subjective comedic proposal.

Jimmy Kimmel intentionally planned the La La Land / Moonlight Oscar mistake

Even if Jimmy Kimmel didn't plan this, which I think he did, he should be blamed for it for all the shitty Jimmy Kimmel pranks he did in the past.

The mistake was famously attributed to a PwC accountant handing out the wrong envelope, not a prank.

Mark Cuban is a genius for 'controlling' the media to protect his players

Mark Cuban, this is sneaky genius. [He's a] player's owner. All the players want to come play for him because they know he's got your back on Twitter. If someone is even remotely, even like a little bit mean on Twitter, he's going to CC the bosses and tell them that they're all in deep shit.

The Mavs have historically been a destination for certain players, though Cuban's Twitter antics are generally viewed as a distraction by most media professionals. Subjective in nature.

Villanova is the only team I trust in college basketball this year

The field is wide open. I actually think the only team that I trust this year is Villanova, which is funny how the world has changed in the last couple years.

Villanova lost in the second round of the 2017 tournament to Wisconsin, making this trust misplaced.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
