The Steelers and Packers are not the best teams in their respective conferences despite their records

The teams that are leading each conference are probably not the best teams in each conference. The Steelers, yeah, they're 8-0. The Steelers might go undefeated. Who knows? ... And then the Packers are 7-2 at the top of the NFC. I don't think either one of those teams is the best team in that conference.

Correct. The Packers lost in the NFCCG to the Bucs (who PFT identifies later as the better team), and the Steelers lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Browns.

The Ravens are frauds

Week 10 in the books. The Ravens are frauds. Confirmed.

The Ravens finished 11-5 and won a playoff game against the Titans, though they were eventually eliminated by the Bills, proving they weren't complete frauds.

I have never wavered from the Patriots making the playoffs

I have never wavered from the Patriots making the playoffs. And I still think that.

The Patriots finished the season 7-9 and missed the playoffs.

God is the Browns' best offensive coordinator

If you're a Browns fan, you're sitting here on Monday and being like, I think God is a Browns fan now. Because God, who decides the weather obviously, keeps doing the worst possible weather in Cleveland on game days and forcing the Browns to run the football. God is literally your best offensive coordinator. He's saying, do not throw it a million times. Run the rock.

Subjective claim about divine intervention helping a football team's play-calling.

The Rams' Australia travel plan was an all-time 'fuck it' move

It was a terrible idea that Sean McVay tried to do, but I have to respect how much of an all-time fuck-it move it was to just pretend that time zones don't exist. He was just like, you know what, fuck it, we're not gonna adapt. We're gonna fly in, fly out.

The Rams lost the Australia opener after using the fly-in/fly-out approach, supporting the criticism in this game-specific judgment.

KOC will get the best out of Kyler Murray

I think that what he's gonna get the absolute best outta Kyler Murray that he possibly can at this point, which I think should be good enough to be a pretty good team this year.

Kyler Murray's 2026 season and Minnesota's performance will determine whether this forecast holds.

Jayden Daniels is going to remind everyone that the bad man is back

I think Jayden Daniels, he's as healthy as he has been since the start of last season. ... I think that he's gonna remind a lot of people who he is. Yeah. That's what I think. I think the bad man might be back.

Daniels' 2026 season will determine whether he re-established himself as an elite or feared quarterback.
