Houston has the toughest second-round matchup of any 1-seed

I think Houston has the toughest matchup when it comes to second round games for the one seeds... Houston just because they're not healthy and, and the way they play... and A&M has guys that can score some buckets and, and so does Nebraska.

Houston was pushed to overtime by Texas A&M in the second round, validating the 'tough matchup' assessment.

The winner of Oakland vs. NC State will be the story of the tournament heading into the Sweet 16

What the winner of that game [Oakland vs. NC State] is going to be the talk of the week leading up to Sweet 16 because it'll be a great story either way.

The winner was NC State, and DJ Burns/the Wolfpack's run became the dominant story of the tournament as they advanced to the Final Four.

Dana Altman is the most underrated coach in America

Dana Altman my most underrated coach in America. I love how he coaches basketball. Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks... Fun fact, Dana Altman is now 8-0 in first round NCAA tournaments. He is such a good coach and he has them overachieving every single year.

This is subjective, but Altman's consistent success as a double-digit seed supports the claim.

MLB will avoid banning Shohei Ohtani because he is too valuable to the league's revenue

It seems to me like baseball, given how much money they stand to make from Ohtani, really does not want to have to treat Ohtani like they would anyone. Can you imagine if it was a utility player that paid off four and a half million dollars? How fast would that guy be banned for baseball for life?

Ohtani was ultimately cleared of wrongdoing by MLB and federal investigators, while his interpreter was charged. PFT's cynicism about the 'star treatment' remains subjective.

Texas has the best wins but may not be the best team

I think you start with Texas because they have the two best wins, but are they the best team? I still, I just want to see more.

This is a current team evaluation that is inherently subjective and will change as the season develops.

Oregon's quarterback depth makes it a contender

They got the money to pay a guy to sit on the bench that's the five-star former quarterback. He was awesome. He did it with Dante Moore behind Dillon Gabriel. And that's where I think you, I mean they didn't lose a beat. It's true. No other teams can have that depth.

The value of Oregon's quarterback depth is an evaluative claim that cannot be definitively resolved independent of the season's results.

Mississippi State can win two of its next four games

You have a chance. I mean, I just said Bama is getting better every week. Kamario has gotten better every week. ... Yes, I believe he's capable. I mean, look at who would you rather have at the quarterback position in those matchups? Kamario. So he gives them a shot, man.

Mississippi State's results across those four games had not occurred by the episode date.
