The European Super League will happen because money makes the world go round.

I think this could happen, blud, because when you check the levels, Arsenal are owned by an American, Stan Kroenke... Liverpool, John Henry, American... Money makes the world go round, bro.

The European Super League collapsed within 48 hours of its announcement.

The European Super League will destroy every club soccer team below the elite level

The richest teams in Italy, Spain, and England... are going to create a league where they're basically doing away with the Champions League. Why would we share money with everyone when we can make a super league and we get to keep all the money... it will therefore basically destroy every club soccer team below them in all of these countries. It's going to ruin the game of soccer.

The Super League proposal faced immediate, massive backlash and collapsed within days of this episode, confirming the widely held sentiment that it was damaging to the sport.

I don't think the European Super League will actually happen.

I don't think it will happen. I don't think it's going to happen. But it does suck if it does happen.

The European Super League collapsed within 48 hours of its announcement due to massive fan and political backlash.

Ben Askren didn't care about the Jake Paul fight and just took a paycheck

Honestly, when I saw him and he was so fat, he had the love handles for the weigh-in, I was like, that guy's not in fighting shape... I think he thought the whole thing was a sham the second he walked into the ring... So Ben Askren just went in there and was like, this is a joke. I'm going to treat it like a joke and just took his paycheck.

Askren's poor conditioning and relaxed reaction to the loss were widely mocked, supporting the theory that it was primarily a financial decision for him.

Gareth Southgate is to blame for England's Euro loss due to delayed substitutions

I think south gate [Southgate], I think you took too long to meet the changes because when you brought on stack off [Saka] is when they equalized... Sack [Saka] was 19. How'd you make it a 19 year old, 10 [take] the final penny [penalty]? How can you make a 19 year old?

The take is an opinion on coaching tactics that cannot be definitively proven right or wrong, but it reflects the consensus criticism of Southgate's management in that final.

England will go on to do big things at the 2022 World Cup despite the Euro final loss

Right now I'm even more confident that we could go on and do bits of the World Cup. They might not win it, but maybe we could get to a semifinal again. In previous years it was a bit different because when we lost, we were like, yo, this is the end... Right now we've built and we just need to continue.

England reached the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup, losing to France. They did not reach the semi-finals as Troopz hoped, but they were competitive.

Chelsea didn't exist as a top-tier consistent club until Roman Abramovich arrived

A lot of Chelsea fans came into it because obviously Abramovich went there with the money and then their club came alive because nobody fucking knew Chelsea until Abramovich come. They were a cup team. When it came to that consistency in the league, the man was shit.

While Chelsea had some success pre-2003, they became a perennial powerhouse only after Abramovich's takeover.
