I do think Joe Flacco probably wins this game... That's the thing about the Colts, they're constantly one score away. Right. With bad quarterback play. If you have average quarterback play, you win these kinds of games.

The Rams would win a trade sending Matthew Stafford to the Vikings for Sam Darnold

There were floating rumors out there about Matthew Stafford being traded for Sam Darnold. Which would've been insane if that had happened. I was, as a fan of chaos, I was hoping that that would happen before the game because that we'll never see that again. And honestly, I think that the Rams would win that trade.

The trade never happened, so the value cannot be verified, but most analysts would favor Stafford over Darnold at that time.

The NFL owners should force Jimmy Haslam to sell the Browns for ruining the guaranteed contract market

Jimmy Haslam giving Deshaun [Watson] that guaranteed contract pissed everybody off. In the NFL... I think that there's a chance, I'm not saying it's a high chance, but there is a chance that the other owners turn on Haslam because of what he did with the contract and set that precedent. I hope for Cleveland fans that they get to experience that... he should sell the team as just a fan of the sport.

As of late 2024, there is no evidence the NFL is forcing Jimmy Haslam to sell.

I don't like passing plays with the offensive line run blocking. I don't like seeing quarterbacks getting their ass knocked off because of this ridiculous protection offense that I'm watching. That's what RPO stands for me... I don't wanna see Friday night offense in high school all day Saturday and then see it on Sunday. I wanna see these NFL quarterbacks drop back to pass, throw an array of routes with different route trees and audibles.

Todd Bowles made a massive mistake going for two while down 17 points

I think you would point your finger at the fact that [Todd Bowles] went for two when he was down 17. So if you had gone for one, he'd be down 16... that's two possessions. But you go for two and... if you don't make it, then you are now in a three possession game. So it makes zero sense that Todd Bowles did that.

Mathematically, being down 17 and failing a 2-point conversion makes it a 3-score game (17) vs a 2-score game (16), supporting PFT's logic.

I, yeah, I think [Lamar Jackson] probably already is [a Hall of Famer]. I'm not saying if Lamar retired right now he's in the Hall of Fame. But I'm saying the way that he's played. If this keeps up Yeah. like anywhere close to what he's been then Yeah, he's the Hall of Famer.

The only shitty thing that could happen, and there should be a rule against this, is you should not be allowed in the 12-team playoff if you have three losses... I feel like you need to take an undefeated team that's maybe in a Group of Five conference and put them in instead of a Power Four team with three losses.

No such rule was implemented; multiple three-loss teams were considered for the 2024 playoff.

The Chiefs were fucking around with the 49ers today too. I'm going to predict Andy Reid's next fuck shit that he's gonna do... Mahomes makes plays when he has to... they'll just win whatever way they have to win.

The Chiefs did win this game decisively and continued their undefeated streak at the time.
