Football is officially back and it started with the most predictable outcome possible: drama in the NFC East. Big Cat and PFT break down the Eagles' opening night victory over the Cowboys, which featured a "retaliation spit" from Jalen Carter that Max defended as pure self-defense. While Dak and the Cowboys looked better than expected, the spotlight was on Jalen Hurts' efficiency and the fact that the Eagles are already sitting pretty atop the league.

Week 1 Preview and the Kyle Pitts Renaissance
The guys went through the entire Week 1 slate, delivering the usual mix of "stupid stats" and questionable gambling advice. PFT is officially jumping back on the Kyle Pitts bandwagon, citing the upgrade at quarterback as the reason this is finally the year the physical freak puts it all together. Meanwhile, Hank is ready to fade the Chiefs in the division, throwing his support behind a new-look Denver squad.

I'm officially back in on Kyle Pitts. Oh no. I'm officially back in. Hear me out... [Kirk Cousins] is a different quarterback than has been throwing the ball to Kyle Pitts over the last two years. He might be smart enough to realize that Kyle Pitts is really theoretically good at football.
As they moved through the games, Big Cat highlighted his "Muck It Up" team of the year. He expects the Giants to be an absolute eyesore to watch, but a team that will somehow find itself in one-score games deep into the fourth quarter every single week.

Transitions are always tough in the first week, but PFT is surprisingly high on the Steelers. Despite the quarterback carousel in Pittsburgh, he believes the culture and defense are enough to finally break their playoff win drought.

Eli Manning dropped by the studio to talk about Slider Sundays, life after football, and the inevitable Hall of Fame discourse. He gave some classic Manning insight into his nephew Arch’s speed and why he told him to never take a photo with a beer in his hand. When it came to the actual football, Eli thinks the Giants' pass rush is going to be a nightmare for the rest of the league, and he even gave his prediction for the Big Game in February.

To wrap things up, Fyre Fest took a financial turn. Hank admitted he still hasn't paid PFT the $9,000 he owes from the long drive contest. The solution? A series of "I'm Sorry-lays" and a high-stakes 18-hole match play game where PFT has the chance to take more of Hank’s money and his dignity.
