The Jets were right to refuse a 1st round pick for Sam Darnold because Kyle Shanahan would have made them look like idiots

I actually am going to side with the Jets here simply because Kyle Shanahan is that type of coach that if he got Sam Darnold, Sam Darnold would be a pro bowler. ... It'd make you look bad. Like, he's the one guy I wouldn't want to trade my quarterback to just knowing that he's going to end up looking good and everyone would be like, oh, the Jets suck even more.
