It is better to be good at a shitty job than awful at a good job

I would also say that it's, it's important If, you have a job that you think sucks. It's important to have a job that sucks that you're good at because then you can take pride in, in whatever it's, you do. Like I would much rather be good at my shitty job than be awful at what some people would say would be a good job.

This is a subjective career philosophy.

The NBA Finals were officially over the moment Nikola Jokic picked up his fifth foul and the Heat still couldn't take the lead.

Friday night we had a little Scott Foster. Jokic gets his fifth foul on a phantom foul... They take Jokic out in the fourth quarter with the Nuggets up 10 with nine minutes left. He doesn't come back in for another five and a half minutes. And the Nuggets were up nine when he came back in. So that was it. That was the moment that the series was officially over.

The Nuggets went on to win the series in five games, confirming Big Cat's assessment that the Heat had no path back.

The Denver Nuggets winning the 2023 NBA Finals is the start of a dynasty

This is the start of the dynasty. This is, this is merely, but the first chapter that we're writing with Nuggets. If, you don't get three titles then. It's a failure.

The Nuggets won the 2023 title but failed to repeat — eliminated in the second round in 2024, with Boston and OKC winning the next two championships. One title does not make a dynasty.

Heat culture is dead; it has been replaced by Nuggets culture.

It's almost like the Nuggets have out-Heat-cultured Heat culture in this series to a certain extent by having those role players. It's this Nuggets culture that's winning this. ... This is Heat culture's dead. Nuggets culture. Viva la Nuggets culture.

This is a subjective assessment of team identity and momentum.

Maxx Crosby to the Ravens is a great move that makes their defense scary

Congrats to the Ravens. Congrats to Jesse Minter. This is a good, a great move. Their defense is gonna be scary. I love the transition from Maxx Crosby was always meant to be playing in a badass uniform. Raiders to Ravens, it's like, okay.

The trade is real and the Ravens defense is historically elite.

The Cowboys 'monitoring' every situation is just a facade for doing nothing

Thoughts and prayers to the Dallas Cowboys who are now leading the NFL in number of guys that they're monitoring... they've been monitoring every situation. So they were monitoring the Crosby situation extremely closely. And they're very disappointed that they did not get Maxx Crosby, despite the fact that they're monitoring.

It's a satirical take on the Cowboys' lack of action in free agency/trades.

Kyler Murray's next team will reveal whether he actually cares about football

I think where Kyler decides to go is going to be very interesting. Yeah. Because no, no matter where he goes, I think we'll be able to say some very definitive statements about Kyler that might, might be wrong, but we'll definitely say them. If he goes to the Jets, it's like, oh, Kyler wanted to take a paycheck. Right. And he still doesn't care about football. Right.

Kyler Murray's reputation for 'not caring' is a long-standing trope that would likely be applied to a paycheck-driven move.
