Jaden Daniels is the best quarterback from the 2024 draft class

I love Jaden Daniels. I think he's the best quarterback in the draft. Sorry, Big Cat... having watched him at Arizona State and then watched him play at LSU and now watching him now, he's the most improved quarterback I've ever seen in my life. I think the commanders have their guy for the next 15 years and he's gonna be a star.

Jayden Daniels won the 2024 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year with 49 of 50 first-place votes. He threw for 3,568 yards with a 100.1 passer rating and led the Commanders to the NFC Championship. Prisco was right that Daniels was the best QB from the 2024 draft class.

The Chiefs are going to win the Super Bowl again this year

I keep going back to just, the Chiefs are gonna win it all again. I think, I feel like this is all leading towards the same conclusion. I think I'm gonna pick the Chiefs... I don't know what's gonna stop 'em.

Big Cat predicted the Chiefs would win the Super Bowl again. The Chiefs lost Super Bowl 59 to the Eagles 40-22, failing to three-peat.

Kyle Shanahan taking Jimmy Garoppolo to a Super Bowl is more impressive than actually winning a Super Bowl

Kyle Shanahan, he took Jimmy G to a Super Bowl. That actually might be bigger than a Super Bowl. Yeah. That might be more impressive than a Super Bowl.

Inherently subjective comparison of achievements.

Robert Saleh would have been fired by now if he weren't bald

I'll take Robert Saleh. Robert Saleh bald head. I think Robert Saleh would've been fired if he didn't have a bald head. I think If you had hair, he would've already been fired. I think the bald head, you just see it and it's like power. Is it too intimidating? It's shiny. Bald, yeah. I just think there's something about him. The aura.

Subjective theory regarding head coach job security and aesthetics.

The Bears are still a year away from being real contenders

I'm a little more realistic because I look at the schedule and see, you know, that they really have what—they played one team with a winning record and lost to 'em. I'm a little apprehensive... I just don't think this is their year. I think they're a year away.

The Bears went 11-6, won the NFC North, and won a playoff game. They were NOT a year away - they were contenders this year.

Sam Darnold will eventually revert to his old, mistake-prone self because 'you are what you are'

Usually this league you are what you are. You're gonna have moments where you're up here... and moments when you're down here... eventually you're in the middle and that's who you are... [Sam Darnold] looked frazzled [last week] and that can't happen. It just can't happen in the big games... there's a Sam Darnold problem at least in my mind.

The take is a subjective long-term outlook on a player's career trajectory.

The 7-4 Chargers will miss the playoffs

They're not making the playoffs... and it's gonna come down to that Chiefs Chargers game and I think the Chiefs will beat 'em. They're seven and four, but if you look at their schedule, it's brutal. And that offensive line is horrible. Yanked [Penning] out of the game. It's a terrible offensive line.

Pete Prisco predicted the 7-4 Chargers would miss the playoffs. The Chargers finished 11-6 and made the playoffs as a Wild Card team, losing to the Patriots 16-3 in the first round.
