Daniel Jones on the Colts will follow the Manning brothers' career arc

[Daniel Jones] is doing the, the Manning Brothers career arc is what he's gonna do... Why not just run the Wishbone? ...Daniel Jones might be QB one by mid-September.

Daniel Jones did not join the Colts in reality, and the Manning arc is clearly a joke.

The ceiling for the Jets with Justin Fields as quarterback next year is nine wins

I checked in with memes yesterday after [the Justin Fields trade] happened... And I asked him, what's the, what's the ceiling of the Jets with Justin Fields next year? He said nine and eight.

The Jets with Justin Fields finished 3-14, far worse than the 9-8 ceiling.

If a team has to fix all its holes through free agency, they are fundamentally a bad team

My take on free agency is if you have to, 'cause everyone's like, oh, they're off season champs again... If you have to fix all the holes, that means you're a bad team if you have to, if you have to go into free agency.

This is a subjective philosophy on roster construction common in sports analysis.

The Cardinals might move on from Kyler Murray to save the coach's job

Kyler Murray. Do the Cardinals love Kyler Murray? I don't think they should. And you got a coach that might need to shake something up. Keep his job. Keep an eye on the Cardinals.

The Cardinals are indeed moving on from Kyler Murray. After he suffered a season-ending lisfranc injury in Week 5, the team is attempting to trade him and would save $34.7M in cap space. The GM is keeping 'options open' at QB.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
