Robot umpires will have unintended consequences like calling strikes on balls in the dirt

I don't want robot umps. No. Because I think there's gonna be a lot of unintended consequences with that... there are a lot of breaking balls that'll be in the dirt that'll clip the bottom of the strike zone technically. They'd have to figure out a better way to do it. I don't want robots.

The minor league testing of ABS (Automated Ball-Strike system) has indeed faced challenges regarding the '3D' nature of the zone and how it handles breaking balls that clip corners.

LIV Golf will never be a team sport because golf is inherently individual

My four-year-old son Chris walked in the other day and he was like, dad, can we watch the ACEs? He's a Big ACEs player. I don't know why they thought like, golf is not a team sport. No. It's never gonna be a team sport. Ryder Cup is countries, America. People are watching for America on that one.

LIV continues to use the team format, but viewership and fan engagement with the 'teams' remains much lower than individual leaderboards.

I will bet on Will Zalatoris in every golf major until he finally wins one

Will Zalatoris on the leaderboard. I was like, God fucking damnit. This is the year for sure. This is, I will bet him in every major until he wins a major. That is a guarantee.

This is a personal betting commitment by Big Cat. Zalatoris did not win a major in 2025, so the commitment would theoretically continue.

The East River is full of prehistoric bison bones dumped by a developer

Dirty Water Don... he's found a bone. He found a jawbone of a steppe bison, which is just a prehistoric, gigantic bison. He found the jawbone in the East River. So that means that it is true. There were tons of bones dump there. It means that they're sniffing in the right place.

While a jawbone was reportedly found, the claim of 'tons' of prehistoric bones dumped there by a specific developer is based on unverified local legend and remains unproven.

I will compete in a Home Run Derby at some point in the future

I can confirm I'm not competing in this year's Home Run Derby... [but] that's the plan. I think that'd be a good goal to have... not if we do it, but when we do it.

He correctly did not compete in 2024. Future years are pending.

Bunting to break up a no-hitter in the World Series is acceptable

If it's like seventh, eighth inning, I don't know... but in like a World Series playoff game... you kind of have to. It's the World Series. Anytime it's a playoff game. It's when it's like 10 nothing and a guy's bunting, it's like, what are you doing right then? But in that [World Series] situation, you have to.

This is an opinion on sports etiquette.

Catchers are the biggest psychos in baseball because they stop projectiles for three hours

I think there's different tiers of it... but catchers, yeah, they're crazy. Who would want to crouch for three hours every day? Just stopping projectiles. Getting hit with bats and foul tips and all kinds of things. You guys are crazy. I wouldn't wanna do that. Any catcher in the league is a different brand of psycho.

Subjective characterization of a position group.
