Tom Izzo is an overrated basketball coach

We just squatted on a take and said, Tom Izzo is overrated. We don't actually believe it now, but just wait. 'cause the conversation's gonna happen. We wanna be the first ones to say it. Now I'm starting to believe it a little bit.

Izzo is a Hall of Famer, but Michigan State's 2023-24 season was relatively disappointing compared to expectations, ending in a second-round tournament exit.

Josh Dobbs with zero practice reps would be a better fit for the Jets offense than Zach Wilson

Honestly, I think if they had Josh Dobbs at quarterback, they could figure it out. Josh Dobbs with zero practice reps is probably a better fit for that offense than Zach Wilson Is he? He looks confused in the middle of plays.

Josh Dobbs eventually flamed out with the Vikings and was benched, while Zach Wilson continued to struggle, making it a 'what if' that likely wouldn't have saved the Jets.

Aaron Rodgers is trolling the media and is not actually close to coming back from his Achilles injury

My theory about Aaron Rodgers is he is, he's a troll. He loves trolling. He loves fucking with the media a little bit... I don't think that he's gonna come back in a couple weeks. I think he's doing this knowing that the media will see him on TV and talk about Aaron Rodgers coming back.

Aaron Rodgers did not return during the 2023 season, despite his teases, proving PFT's skepticism correct.

Alabama is all the way back and this is Nick Saban's best coaching job

Alabama is all the way back. Alabama is all the way back. Jalen Milroe has figured it out... I think our take was right from September, I think this is Nick Saban's best coaching job.

Alabama won the SEC and made the College Football Playoff, losing in the Rose Bowl (semifinal). For a season that started with a loss to Texas and a benching of the QB, it was seen as one of Saban's better coaching feats.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
