The Chiefs will beat the Lions in the Super Bowl

I'm gonna pick Kansas City and Detroit in the Super Bowl. And I'm gonna say Kansas City does it... I'm afraid of not picking Mahomes... 15 finds a way, man.

The Super Bowl was Eagles vs. Chiefs (not Chiefs vs. Lions), and the Chiefs lost 22-40. The Lions lost in the Divisional Round.

Drew Allar was horrific against Notre Dame

Drew Allar was horrific. Drew Allar threw three interceptions today. And he was so bad that even the last lateral of the game, he overthrew and threw out of bounds. But I like Drew Allar was, was horrific.

Allar threw 3 interceptions (though some were negated by penalties) and finished with a poor passer rating as Penn State lost to Notre Dame.

Taking away Tyler Warren effectively ends Penn State's passing threat

I actually think that a big impact on this game was when Tyler Warren got taken out. When you take Tyler Warren away from Penn State, then you take away all the threat of their, their physical passing because they're wide receivers. Can't catch a ball.

Warren is widely considered Penn State's best offensive player and his absence/injury clearly hampered their production.

Marcus Freeman is a top-tier coach after beating Kirby Smart and Penn State

Marcus Freeman was incredible. I thought he coached a great game. Marcus Freeman, I'm a believer, like he last game when he, when he pants Kirby Smart. This game, how they came outta halftime... I think he's coached in incredible playoffs.

Freeman led Notre Dame to the National Championship game in 2025, validating the 'believer' status.

The Rams are a top Super Bowl contender because their QB/WR connection is 'stupid'

Teams that I truly believe can win at number one Rams... there's no quarterback wide receiver group right now that sees it the same way consistently. The throws and the catches are stupid right now.

The Rams were top contenders (12-5, NFCCG) with Stafford winning MVP. But they lost in the NFCCG to Seattle.

Caleb Williams has absolutely stopped creating problems for himself

What do you have to see from Caleb to feel good going into 2026 and beyond? I would tell you number one, stop creating problems for yourself. He's absolutely done that now... He's more in structure, he's playing more in rhythm and timing.

Technical football opinion from an expert, can be evaluated against Williams' performance stats through the end of 2025.

Running the football in shotgun formation all the time stinks

I line up under center, every play is available to me... every direction is available to me. There's very little tendency or tell... when I'm in the shotgun, there's a smaller option of what I can do... When I'm under center, I turn my back to you in a play action fake. You cannot see the ball and the gun. You can all the time.

This is a tactical philosophy held by many NFL analysts and coaches.
