The 49ers are definitively the best team in the NFC right now

Obviously the Niners shit-pumped the Eagles. They're the better, they're the better team right now without question. But they had 10 days of rest. It's a fact. It's not just obvious to be like, 'oh yeah, we just saw what happened, that's what's gonna happen in the NFC Championship game.'

The 49ers went on to reach the Super Bowl representing the NFC, while the Eagles collapsed and lost in the Wild Card round.

The Saints should let their offense run through Taysom Hill all the time

They should just let that offense run through Taysom Hill all the time. There's nobody like him in the NFL. He seems to be effective at moving the chains. The offense is something that like, you can't really prepare for that well. It's like facing the triple option. If you have a Taysom Hill game, like you haven't played an offense like that all season. And Taysom Hill is good enough at being a quarterback and good enough running with a football where I feel like he would be a much better starter than Derek Carr.

The Saints did not switch to Hill as a full-time starter; Carr remained the primary QB while Hill continued in a hybrid role.

The Saints need to blow everything up and reset their franchise

The Saints just have to admit that they suck and they have to start blowing everything up because the Saints have been doing this for, it started at the end of the Brees era and it's been going on ever since where they just continually kick the can down the road. The Saints are $71 million over the cap next year. I don't even know how that's possible. Why wouldn't they just start trading people? Start cutting, start trading, just reset everything. If you're a Saints fan, you have to want a fresh restart.

Subjective opinion on roster management, though the Saints notably did NOT blow it up and continued to restructure contracts for 2024.

Shane Steichen should be the NFL Coach of the Year

Shane Steichen is coach of the year. That touchdown play, the Michael Pittman touchdown where they ran a fake rub route was like so perfectly—I'd have to imagine they had run that rub route a bunch of times and then to save the fake for that exact moment was ran to perfection.

Kevin Stefanski won the 2023 AP NFL Coach of the Year award, though Steichen finished high in the voting (runner-up).

My 'dinner simulator' habit of building food orders and not buying them is a sign of good self-control

Instead of going and making myself a snack or making myself food or ordering food, I'll just pull up the apps, Uber Eats... and I'll just like put together an order of what I would order if I were to get something. And then I clear my cart and I go to bed... It's really good self-control.

Subjective self-assessment of his own behavior.

Bryce Harper will return to being a beast this season after disrespect from his GM

Bryce Harper's been nothing but good. And Dave Dombrowski disrespecting him like that. Bryce has every right to be upset about that. ... I think he's gonna be a beast this year. He's gonna return to being a beast.

Depends on Harper's 2026 season stats.

Landon Dickerson and Lane Johnson will definitely be back for the Eagles next season

They'll be back. They'll be back... a couple months away from the game and you know, your body starts to heal up a little bit. You start to get that itch, they'll be back.

Will be determined by roster moves in the 2026 offseason.
