I would retire from football if it guaranteed the Bills a Super Bowl win

If that's what it took, I would do it. [Big Cat: You guarantee it?] I would do it. I feel like I would have a part whether I played or not.

This is a hypothetical sacrifice that cannot be literally tested without a magical guarantee.

USA soccer is back and will win the World Cup now that Gregg Berhalter is fired

Greg Berhalter has been fired yet again. We did it guys. Congratulations. USA soccer is back on the map. We're so back now. We're gonna win a World Cup.

While Berhalter was fired, the USMNT did not immediately win a World Cup; the next one is in 2026.

The USMNT will never be great until the players care enough to fight fans in the stands

The United States will never be great at soccer until our players care enough to go into the stands and fight people from other countries. It just means more. That somehow a Malice at the Palace situation... these guys just fucking care about soccer.

The take is inherently subjective as it links greatness to fan-fighting, which isn't a standard metric.

Nike is likely behind Jalen Brown and Kyrie Irving being left off Team USA

And I do think there is probably some truth to the Nike thing where Kyrie is also, you know, if Jalen Brown's a snub, Kyrie's a snub... They're both very outspoken against Nike. Coincidence? Probably not. I think not.

While Jalen Brown himself suggested this, USAB managing director Grant Hill denied it. It remains an unproven conspiracy.

Losing sometimes helps more than winning does

The thing is, sometimes like a loss actually helps you. Yeah. Like, it, it refocus you. It's like, all right, we should not have, like what did we do during that week that caused us to lose that game? Like, why did we play off? Why, what caused things to go awry? Like, so sometimes those losses help more than wins do.

This is a subjective philosophy about sports psychology.

The 'He is Him' phrase is being overused in the NFL

I think there's too many hymns right now. It's like church. There's a lot of them. There's a lot of 'em going around. I think, you know, if everybody's great. Nobody's great. So we gotta, I there's gotta be a new word.

Subjective opinion on cultural/slang trends.

Bad football plays can turn out good because 'negative times negative is positive'

Really, my perspective is just try to make a play. When I get in those situations where I'm 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage, I'm like, I can't take a sack here. I've got to do whatever I can to get out of this. They say negative times a negative is positive. That's kind of my mindset.

While a joke, it accurately describes the 'Josh Allen experience' of turning disasters into highlights.
