Justin Fields is officially the guy for the Chicago Bears

The argument that everyone made in the off season that the Bears were ruining Justin Fields by not getting him anyone. You can't then complain that they went and got [Chase Claypool]. I got my guy, I'm feeling confident about having my guy. I have, I have a guy. He is the guy... he's officially the guy. Build around Justin Fields. Everything else doesn't matter.

Fields had a historic rushing season in 2022 but was eventually traded to the Steelers in 2024 after the Bears chose to draft Caleb Williams #1 overall, meaning he was ultimately not 'the guy' long-term for them.

Lance McCullers Jr. was tipping his pitches against the Phillies

Lance McCullers was tipping all of his pitches tonight. And you saw it from the start. Like Bryce [Harper], when he went yard, he told everybody in the Phillies dugout, he's like, This guy's tipping his pitches. A bunch of stuff went viral online where you could see like the high leg kick. You could see the back leg being straight and the Phillies hit all their home runs off sinkers curves, changeups things like that.

Post-game analysis and various experts confirmed McCullers was likely tipping his pitches based on his delivery mechanics.

Jeff Wilson Jr. is the sneaky best move of the NFL trade deadline

I actually think Jeff Wilson is like the sneaky best move of the day because you have a running back who knows the Shanahan system who can now run Mike McDaniel's system. Like that was, that's one of those ones where it just, it's under the radar because there are bigger names.

Wilson had a productive rest of the season for Miami, including a big role in the offense, validating the 'sneaky' fit.

The Brooklyn Nets are not fixable

I don't think you get to worry about the Nets. And I know that what a sucks that Ime's gone because he is a very good coach. But the Nets are not, I actually do not think they're fixable. I really don't.

The Nets eventually traded both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving mid-season, fully blowing up the core and starting a rebuild, confirming they weren't fixable in that iteration.

Betting the over on Alabama basketball is a cheat code

Alabama by the way is a cheat code if you want to get in on it. It's just betting their overs. They just never stopped missing. This has been like, oh, two weeks now they're over under for the first half was 45 and a half points last night. They scored 69 in the first half.

The 'cheat code' status of a team's over is based on a specific run of games; eventually, Vegas adjusts the lines.

Tua Tagovailoa's market value is non-existent relative to his contract

Everything's on the table for the Dolphins. Tua could be a fullback. What would you... What do you think the Dolphins would say yes to for a trade for Tua? Like a sixth round pick for Tua? A jugs machine? I don't know what the hell would Tua's market be?

The Dolphins' internal view on 'everything being on the table' is a subjective claim about team strategy.
