The 'Seven-Year Bump' for NFL quarterbacks is real

Somebody actually put the stats together out there... they found out that nineteen out of twenty two quarterbacks entering year 7 had a better touchdown per attempt percentage... everyone except for Jay Cutler had a better completion percentage... Basically the seven-year bump is real.

While statistical trends can be found for certain cohorts, 'the seven-year bump' is more of a show-specific narrative than a universally accepted football principle.

There is a 100% chance Andrew Luck plays another snap in the NFL

I'm going to say there's a hundred percent chance that Andrew Luck plays another snap in the NFL. Oh, that's good. You know, why because I can basically keep saying it for the next ten years.

Andrew Luck never played another snap in the NFL after his retirement in August 2019.

Andrew Luck's shoulder failed to heal because Indianapolis was the first city to get 5G service

There is a doctor out there. He specializes in holistic medicine... He thinks that Andrew Luck shoulder didn't heal correctly because Indianapolis was the first city in the country to get 5G service. And he thinks that all the data swimming through that City interferes with the Regeneration of stem cells. Oh, so he thinks that Andrew Luck's his shoulder is actually never going to repair because of that.

There is no scientific evidence that 5G service interferes with stem cell regeneration or caused Andrew Luck's injuries.

There is a 0% chance that Andrew Luck ever plays another snap in the NFL

I'm going to say 0% for Andrew Luck [playing again]. I just don't see it happening. One of us is going to be right. It's a zero-sum game here. It's either going to play again or he's not.

Andrew Luck remained retired and never played in the NFL again.

The Chiefs-Rams Trent McDuffy trade is the first true win-win trade in NFL history

I think the only win-win trade in the history of the NFL might be the McDuffy trade. The one that just happened. Where the the Chiefs traded McDuffy to the Rams. The Rams don't give a fuck about first round picks. They got a great player and they still have their better first round pick from the Falcons. That to me is the first win-win trade in the history of the NFL.

Subjective assessment of trade value over time.

The Rams have proven that first-round draft picks outside of the top 10 don't matter

Are the Rams doing it correctly? Not that draft picks don't matter. Draft picks outside of the top 10 don't matter as much... instead of taking risks on a bunch of 21 year olds, let's get the known commodity knowing it's a crapshoot and just keep punting that down the line being like, we don't care.

This is a subjective organizational philosophy that has yielded mixed results for other teams, though the Rams have remained competitive.

Alec Pierce is about to get a massive contract in free agency

I think Alec Pierce is about to get paid too. I think the market on Alec Pierce is gonna be crazy. Possible Patriot. Possible Commander.

Pierce remained on his rookie contract through 2024; he did not hit free agency or get a 'crazy' bag in 2025.
