Bill Belichick will regret not winning the Patriots-Bills game with zero pass attempts

I actually think that Bill Belichick did not want to attempt a single pass last night. He was forced into it at the end and it would have been amazing. I actually that's, that's a regret that Bill Belichick is going to have. He's not going to have many of them at the end of his career, but he's going to regret not winning this game with zero passes, zero passes.

Purely speculative about Belichick's internal motivations.

I am finally willing to admit that weather and wind exist in football

I've learned a lot over the years. You know, I know some things, I don't know. Some other things before yesterday, I was steadfast in my belief that weather doesn't matter. Wind is not a factor unless it's a tornado. And I was proven correct, pretty much up until last night, but Bill Belichick... taught me a lesson and I'm okay with that. I'm willing to admit because of what Bill Belichick showed me, that weather does matter. Okay. Wind can be a factor.

The game conditions objectively proved wind and weather altered NFL outcomes significantly.

If you're going to have bad weather, it's better to have extreme weather than halfway bad weather

If you're going to have bad weather, I think it's better to have really, really bad weather than halfway bad weather. Yeah. It's your you're right? Like the wind, the problem with the wind is the wind got tired out. We needed more wind to keep it crazier.

This is a subjective preference for entertainment value.

The 2021 Buffalo Bills struggle against physical teams and haven't beaten anyone impressive

The bills also in the words of a Paul Finebaum caller 'ain't beat nobody.' They beat the Chiefs, but that's before the Chiefs became the Chiefs... But yeah, the Bills, they, they struggle against good teams. They struggle against more physical teams. And that is embarrassing for defense.

The Bills actually finished strongly, beating the Patriots in the playoffs and losing an all-timer to the Chiefs in the Divisional round, proving they were elite.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
