Mason Rudolph will be a first-round NFL draft pick

I think right now of the sneaky quarterbacks who are going to be into the first round by the time the season ends, I think Mason Rudolph is going to be a guy that we look at and say, ah, okay, with the 16th pick of the draft, somebody takes Mason Rudolph.

Mason Rudolph was selected in the 3rd round (76th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Matthew Stafford is officially on the hot seat after signing his new contract

I love when a quarterback gets a new deal because they are officially, speaking of hot seat cool throne, they are officially on the hot seat because now it's joke season on Matthew Stafford. We saw it with Joe Flacco. We saw it with Jay Cutler. Matt Stafford has probably a year... and every interception he throws comes a tweet, wow, $86 million for this?

Stafford indeed became a lightning rod for criticism in Detroit until he was traded to the Rams and won a Super Bowl, proving the 'overpaid' narrative wrong but the 'hot seat' narrative correct for the time.

Matthew Stafford is the best of the 'sucky' quarterbacks

I actually always say Matt Stafford, you know my two categories of quarterbacks. It's guys who can win you a Super Bowl and then guys who suck. And Matt Stafford is the best sucky quarterback.

This is a subjective categorization of a player's talent and tier.

The Lions will never win a Super Bowl with Matthew Stafford as their quarterback

I think it's the smart thing to do [signing Stafford], but I also don't think the Lions are going to win a Super Bowl with Matt Stafford. The NFL is so weird like this. You can make a decision that's the right decision while also still knowing ultimately it's not a good thing.

Stafford never won a playoff game with the Lions, let alone a Super Bowl, during his 12 seasons in Detroit.

The Houston Texans are not Super Bowl ready because their offense is not explosive enough

I don't think it's going to happen. I don't think they're ready yet... I don't think they're Super Bowl ready because I just don't think they're explosive enough on offense. And I don't think play calling-wise, they know how to put their foot on your throat.

The Texans lost in the Wild Card round of the 2018 playoffs to the Colts.

Mitchell Trubisky belongs in the NFL and is the best quarterback in the NFC North

Trubisky... he's proven that he belongs... I think they're going to win the division. I think they're the best team in the division.

The Bears did win the NFC North in 2018 with a 12-4 record.

The Baltimore Ravens will make the NFL playoffs.

I want to say them [Colts], but the Ravens, I think, are going to make the playoffs. And then it's going to come down to the other three... That team's dangerous because they're filled with veterans and they're well-coached.

The Ravens finished 10-6 and won the AFC North to make the playoffs.
