Blake Bortles was the glue that held the Jaguars together

One must ask was Blake Bortles the glue that held the Jaguars together? Oh for sure. I mean, that's that's why I ran. Wanted to go to LA.

The Jaguars' culture did indeed collapse after 2017, though attributing it solely to Bortles is a comedic exaggeration.

Jameis Winston will record a touchdown, an interception, and a fumble on Saturday

The special famous Jameis hat-trick: Jameis [Winston] to record over a half a touchdown, half an interception and a half a fumble. I love that one. I love that way so much. That's me Saturday. I'm going to route so hard for that.

In the Saturday game vs the Texans (12/21/2019), Winston threw 0 TDs and 4 INTs. He did not record a touchdown, so the 'hat-trick' failed.

Take all the unders in late-season NFL divisional games

I feel like late in the season divisional just take all the unders. I know that sounds crazy. I know overs are more fun. But these two teams know each other they yeah, they it's tough to beat a team twice.

While a common betting trope, NFL scoring trends vary year to year; in Week 16 of 2019, several divisional games (like Rams-49ers) went over the total.

I am putting a future bet on the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl

Before we tape this podcast, I put a future bet on the Cowboys win the Super Bowl. And it's really good odds. Yeah. I mean, we just saw it last week. So that's what's freshener mind.

The 2019 Cowboys went 8-8 and missed the playoffs entirely after losing to the Eagles in Week 16.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
