Bill Belichick was ready to move Tom Brady to keep Jimmy Garoppolo to avoid a late-career decline

I do totally think that Bill Belichick was ready to go to Jimmy Garoppolo this offseason. I absolutely do. That makes perfect sense because even if Tom Brady wins the Super Bowl, Belichick's one mark is that he always gets rid of guys before they start to decline.

Subsequent reporting and books confirm Belichick indeed wanted to pivot to Garoppolo before Robert Kraft intervened.

The Bears could have a top-five offense even if they miss the playoffs

This resolves when the 2026 regular season ends and Chicago's offensive ranking and playoff status are known.

The Jaguars could win the AFC South

I think the Jaguars are not getting any respect or talked about a lot. I think they're gonna be really good this year. They could win the South. I think Trevor Lawrence is gonna keep going forward.

The Jaguars' season and Trevor Lawrence's 2026 performance will determine the prediction.
