Bill Walton's commentary only works at 11:00 PM; he is 'exposed' during daytime games

The problem is it's in the middle of the day. Bill Walton is exposed when he's in the middle of the day. It's usually 11 o'clock at night... and it's pretty much just you and Bill Walton. Right now, the whole world's kind of watching because it's sports during the day... we've got to get him off of this daytime slot.

This is a media critique and subjective, but many fans do associate Walton with the 'Pac-12 after dark' slot.

DK Metcalf's muscles are so large they interfere with his ability to make body catches.

DK [Metcalf] dropped another touchdown catch, and we're beginning to think he might have a problem, that maybe his muscles are too big and they push the shoulder pads out. The ball hits the shoulder pads. He can't make body catches.

This is a humorous and subjective anatomical theory about a wide receiver's performance.

A smart NFL team should hire Cam Newton as a specialist for two-point conversions only.

What a smart team should do is they should just hire Cam Newton to be their all-time two-point conversion quarterback. Go for two guy. Go for two every single time.

Cam Newton continued to play as a traditional quarterback for the Patriots and Panthers and was never utilized solely as a two-point conversion specialist.

Doug Pederson has officially entered the process of being fired.

Doug Pederson has officially started the process of getting fired. And I say that because Doug Peterson said afterwards he prides himself on calling plays... for the first time, he's mentioned that a change in play caller could be on the table.

Doug Pederson was fired by the Philadelphia Eagles on January 11, 2021, less than six weeks after this episode aired.

Kevin Willard's joke about firing his staff was funny and shouldn't have been taken seriously

It was such a clear joke and people, I couldn't believe... There were people who actually thought he was being serious. I thought it was a funny joke. And then we had the people trying to cover for themselves being like, well, even if it was a joke, that's not a joke you make. Imagine if you're an assistant and you hear your boss say that.

Whether a joke is funny or appropriate is subjective.

The lack of Cinderellas in the tournament isn't due to NIL but because big teams are more efficient and physical

Todd Golden had a very good point... part of the reason why there's less upsets is teams are just getting way more efficient in scoring at the rim and becoming almost like raising their floor and becoming upset proof in the fact that you get really big dudes... and absolutely hammer the boards. And when you do that against smaller schools, you're not gonna like, how do big schools lose the small schools is like three point variance.

This is an analytical opinion on sports trends that can't be definitively proven right or wrong.

The Sweet 16 in Houston won't be a home game for the Cougars because Iowa and Nebraska fans travel too well

Illinois, Nebraska and Iowa have some pretty big fan bases that are all gonna wanna travel, especially Nebraska... I don't think it's gonna be like they're gonna take over the place, but I don't think it's gonna be 80% Houston at this game.

The attendance split of the Sweet 16 regional in Houston will determine this.
