Billy Napier is finished at Florida

The Florida win was Billy Napier is, I mean, he's just dead. He's just gone. Florida then spit. Billy Napier is all but out.

Billy Napier survived the 2024 season despite heavy criticism and was retained for 2025.

John Harbaugh has a problem with second-half collapses and poor game management

This is a John Harbaugh loss. He's got several of them... double digit leads that [blow]. It does feel like he does something like that every year where whether it's like, oh, you forgot that you had a running game or why did you punt there? Or your running back fumbled or your defense didn't play anything resembling your defense from last year.

The Ravens blew a 10-point lead in the 4th quarter against the Bills in Week 1 2025 (in the show's fictional timeline).

Josh Allen is currently playing the game on easy mode and is the MVP frontrunner

Josh Allen played awesome, just unstoppable. He looks like he's playing the game on easy mode. And that was maybe game of the year in week one... that did feel like a statement. 251 yards passing in the fourth quarter is just, he was just dicing them up.

Allen's 4th quarter stats against Baltimore were record-breaking for a Week 1 game.

JJ McCarthy is the number one 'gamer' in the NFL

JJ McCarthy, gamer dude. Is he the number one gamer that we got right now? ...I think he's become the number one gamer now in the NFL. It's like, well yeah, as bad as things can look. So he's just gonna figure out a way to win.

JJ McCarthy missed his entire rookie season due to a meniscus injury, so he never actually 'won' games on the field in 2024.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
