Dennis Allen might be the worst coach of all time

We also need to talk about the fact that Dennis Allen might be the worst coach of all time. And that's not being facetious. That's not being like hyperbolic. That is, if you look at the stats, I think he is somewhere around the seventh to 10th worst coach record wise.

While Allen had a poor record, coaches like Hue Jackson (3-36-1) had statistically worse tenures, making 'all time worst' technically incorrect.

The Rams are officially a legitimate, good football team

I think we can say that the Rams are legit. Like they're, they're a good, they're a good team.

The Rams finished 10-7 and made the playoffs, proving they were indeed a good team in 2023.

The Rams are officially a dangerous playoff team

I'm gonna say this, the Rams, I think they're officially dangerous. That's what they are. They're dangerous. Matt Stafford playing great ball.

The Rams took the Lions to the brink in the Wild Card round, losing by only 1 point, validating the 'dangerous' label.

Matt Stafford is a Hall of Famer

Matt Stafford is a hall of Famer and watching him play football is fun. Like his, the the throws he makes And, it, it's, it doesn't feel like it's gratuitous. It's like it's making some of these throws. 'cause he has to make these throws.

Stafford is still active, so his HOF status is pending, but the consensus on his candidacy improved significantly after his Rams Super Bowl win.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
