Draymond Green's $50,000 fine for recruiting Devin Booker was worth it

Draymond get fined $50,000 for saying Devin Booker needs to get out of the Phoenix on the set of TNT. Well, so people are saying that there shouldn't be these tampering laws anymore like $50,000 of Draymond Green is absolutely nothing. It's actually probably worth it in terms of just the message that he was sending to Booker.

The value of a fine is subjective to the player and the goal of the tampering.

The Big Ten will announce they are canceling the college football season on Monday

As we're sitting here right now, it feels like the Big Ten is going to announce that they're canceling on Monday. And then who knows what's gonna happen? Like I could still see the SEC being like fuck everyone were playing.

The Big Ten announced the postponement of the fall season on August 11, 2020.

College football would happen if the NCAA paid the athletes and made them employees

This is the one sport where they don't pay their athletes and if they pay their athletes, I actually think it would happen. They wish it'd basically be like, hey, do you want to get paid? Okay... the problem is the NCAA will do everything including cancel a season before they pay their athlete.

This is a subjective labor theory, though history shows the NCAA fought pay until legally forced via NIL.

One in 50 offensive linemen will die from a heart attack during a game

Billy told us a fact that one in 50 offensive linemen will die from a heart attack during a game which I don't know where he got that fact out of his ass literally just said that before the show.

There is no medical or historical data to support that 2% of all offensive linemen die of heart attacks during games.

The Chargers' game against the Raiders is a must-win

The Chargers might have the most must-win game of all time playing the Raiders with the schedule they have. If they don't win this week, it's over.

The Chargers' season outcome and whether the loss effectively ended their season had not been resolved at the time of the episode.

Texas won; Ohio State choked

I'll say Texas win, Ryan Day choke. The play calling, I don't know, maybe they got too conservative. I think they probably did.

This is a retrospective interpretation of the game rather than a purely objective claim; assigning primary blame is subjective.

Oregon is probably out if it loses to USC

The USC game will be massive. If Oregon loses that game, they're probably out.

Oregon's playoff status after the USC game was still unresolved at the time of the episode.
