Duke was the best team in the country and should have easily won the tournament

I said on this show a month ago, Duke was the best team in the country and they should easily win the, the NCAA tournament. They were similar to last year's team... I will be front of the line saying, guys, I fucked up. You got it wrong.

Duke lost in the Elite Eight to UConn, so they definitively did not win the tournament.

Duke players suffered severe concussions from the UNC court-storming earlier in the season

I think it's also important to remember that Duke likely had several players that were suffering from severe concussions after the storming of the court that UNC had against them... it's sad that they were forced to continue playing for the rest of the season after such a violent act happened to 'em.

There is no medical evidence of season-long concussions; the take is a satirical jab.

The loss to UConn belongs on the Mount Rushmore of bad Duke losses in the last five years

This choke makes the Mount Rushmore of bad Duke losses in the last five years, but barely... 2022 Final four. They lost in Coach K's retirement game... 2023 fuck they lost in the second round by 13 points... 2024 they lost in the Elite eight to NC State... and this year they lost first one seed to lose by in a game where they led by 19 points.

This is a subjective ranking of sports disappointments.

This Duke choke was the Godfather 2 of Duke losses — the sequel was even better than last year

A lot of times the sequel is not as good as the original. This sequel was so much better. This was Godfather Two. Last year you're like, how could it get better? It got better. Duke, thank you — you somehow made a way to make it even better. And that's almost impossible to do.

Purely subjective ranking of Duke's all-time chokes — cannot be objectively resolved.

The Knicks have finally unlocked Karl-Anthony Towns as an offensive facilitator

Timbs is a very good coach, but it does feel like The Knicks had finally figured out a way to unlock Kat in terms of being a guy who can facilitate offense. The high posts, you know, his assist number has been off the charts.

Towns' assist numbers in the Sixers series (64 through five games) were objectively higher than his previous playoff average, supporting the observation of a tactical shift.

Cade Cunningham is the best player in the Pistons vs. Cavaliers series

Cade Cunningham's the best player in this series. And that was the difference in that game is that he, for the, for the first time in a few games, he had like a, a poor ending to a game where that's, that's usually when Cade Cunningham just kicks everyone's ass.

Cunningham finished the 2025-26 season as an All-Star and the clear leader of the Pistons, though the Cavs won this series.

Cameron Boozer is 'bust-proof'

I do think Boozer has the highest floor lowest ceiling. He's bust proof. I don't think he's gonna be like some of these [other guys]... Boozer looks like a Grizzly though.

Boozer's career outcome is pending his draft and several years of play.
