I'd rather the Bears play the Vikings than the Eagles in the playoffs

I'd rather play the Vikings than the Eagles. The Eagles are scary. Nick Foles is a scary quarterback. He's so fucking good. In the month of December and January, Nick Foles, when everybody else shrinks up because of the cold, Nick Foles just flops all around.

The Bears ended up playing the Eagles in the Wild Card round and lost on the infamous 'Double Doink' field goal.

The Vikings are just one win away from the playoffs

The Vikings are now one win away from the playoffs, and as my good friend Shaquille O'Neal famously once said, Can you step on digit? Vikings 27, Lions 9.

The Vikings lost to the Bears in Week 17 and missed the playoffs, so while the 'one win away' claim was technically true at the moment, they did not achieve it.

The Ravens are the NFL team of the weekend

Our team of the weekend has to be the Ravens. What they did on Saturday night, going to San Diego and beating Phil Rivers and a super hot Chargers team by playing 1940s offense is unbelievable. They do bully ball.

The Ravens finished the season 10-6 and won the AFC North, proving Big Cat's praise of their momentum at the time was well-founded.

I'm not selling my Chargers stock yet

I'm still hanging on to my Charger stock. It's going to turn around just like Bitcoin. I completely agree that was a nightmare matchup for the chargers.

The Chargers actually went on to beat the Ravens in the Wild Card round a few weeks later, proving PFT right that they would turn it around.

They're the best team at baseball all year, and they proved it. They absolutely decimated the Dodgers.

The Brewers had reached the World Series and were described in the episode as having the best regular season; whether they were definitively the best team is partly subjective.

A 24-team playoff is ruining college football

We're moving to a 24-team playoff. It just sucks. We don't need 24 teams. Twelve is probably a stretch already. What made college football special was the regular season mattered so much.

Whether playoff expansion improves or harms college football is an evaluative judgment.
