I'll bet my life that Hank will dunk

I believe Henry Lockwood is going to dunk. No, I actually 100% believe you're gonna dunk. Because you've been working out a lot. You've been training a lot.

Hank did not dunk by January 1, 2025. Despite training, he was unable to achieve the dunk.

Patrick Mahomes has already reached 100% of Troy Aikman's Super Bowl success

Patrick Mahomes has thrown 36% of Troy Aikman's career touchdowns in about 8% of the games. And Troy Aikman quote, tweet that in 2019 and said, 'talk to me when he has 33% of my Super Bowl titles,' he [Mahomes] now has a hundred percent of his Super Bowl titles.

As of the episode date, Patrick Mahomes had won 3 Super Bowls (LIV, LVII, LVIII), matching Troy Aikman's career total of 3.

Dan Orlovsky’s claim that Mac Jones was the best rookie QB ever is the Take of the Year

Dan Orlovsky incredible saying he believes Belichick will win another Super Bowl with Mac Jones at QB. Mac Jones is the best rookie QB that I have ever seen since doing this job when it comes to knowing where to go with the football, when to go with the football, and how to throw that football. 'Ever seen' is just something you should not—ever seen is crazy.

The take being discussed (by Orlovsky) has been proven incorrect as Mac Jones was traded from the Patriots after several benchings.

The NFL should implement a rule where players can only play 16 games in an 18-game season

18 game season, every player can only play a maximum of 16 games. I like it in theory because it just, it's chaos. It's a wrinkle, would be strategery would be awesome, but... I liked it at first and then I thought I definitely would get fucked because I'd bet a line on Monday and then they'd be like, 'this is the game we're throwing.'

This is a hypothetical 'what-if' rule suggestion, making it inherently subjective.

American sports dominance is officially over

Are we as a country washed? because this also is on the heels of shams announcing SGA back to back MVP and I think it's been like nine years, I believe eight years since an American has won the NBA MVP... and Aaron Rai, it's the second European to win a major this year and Europeans are now two and oh in majors for the first time since 1934.

While hyperbolically stated, the fact that international players have dominated NBA MVPs (Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, SGA) for nearly a decade is factual.

The Steelers will be stuck with a 7-10 win ceiling with Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is back. I feel bad for Steelers fans... he's not the same quarterback... the Steelers just put a finite floor and ceiling on their season. Right? And it's somewhere between seven and 10 wins. That's what we're thinking.

Outcome depends on the 2026 NFL season results for the Steelers.

The Chicago White Sox are no longer a joke and could win the AL Central

White Sox are good. They're actually like, this is finally like, it's kind of, they're not a joke. They've got some sluggers. Big time dude... I don't know what the price is for them winning the AL Central, but they, they, they are not a bad team.

White Sox performance in the 2026 MLB season is ongoing.
