I would trust Trevor Lawrence more than Kirk Cousins in a win-or-go-home game

If you had a game that you had to win, I think I would trust [Trevor Lawrence] more than Kirk Cousins.

Subjective comparison of trust in high-pressure situations.

Kirby Smart is the new standard of college football

Kirby Smart is the new standard. It was actually a great moment where David Pollack told Nick Saban to his face that everyone's trying to catch up to Georgia... Kirby Smart looks like the new Nick Saban. I know, I know. That might sound ridiculous, but it, I mean he just won back to back national titles.

Kirby Smart led Georgia to back-to-back titles and maintained elite status, though Saban remained the gold standard until retirement.

Stetson Bennett should work out as a slot receiver and holder for NFL teams

If I were, if I were an NFL GM right now, I would ask [Stetson Bennett] to work out for me at like slot wide receiver and holder. He's fast. He's like, forget about like sneaky fast or deceptively athletic. He's just fast, fast.

Stetson Bennett was drafted as a quarterback by the Rams, not a receiver/holder.

Denver is one of the best comedy towns in the United States

Denver's a very liberal city. Right. That's, most people know it as a liberal, but Colorado isn't all liberal. Yeah. There's a lot of conservative out there. It's kind of a purple place... It's unbelievable. It's one of the best comedy towns in the country in my opinion.

This is a professional opinion from a touring comedian.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
