Joe Burrow is too injured to be playing right now and the Bengals should sit him

He's [Burrow] injured. He's very injured. He has sucked this year... He is a tough ass dude that has a lot of pride. But at some point, like maybe try to get healthy and, and sneak into a wild card spot because right now it doesn't look good... I would take the keys out of his hand.

Burrow continued to play until a wrist injury ended his season in Week 11. The Bengals missed the playoffs.

Taylor Swift probably thinks Zach Wilson is the greatest quarterback of all time

If Taylor Swift, this is her second football game she's ever been to know of, she probably thinks that Zach Wilson is the greatest quarterback of all time. 'Cause he is outplaying Patrick Mahomes.

Subjective comedic take. In the specific game (Chiefs/Jets Week 4), Wilson did outplay Mahomes statistically.

Taylor Swift is a distraction for the Kansas City Chiefs

I think we need to have the conversation. Is Taylor Swift a distraction? I just love the word distraction because you can just throw it out there for anything. But I do think that if there was going to be a distraction, probably be like the most famous person in the world dating your tight end.

The Chiefs went on to win the Super Bowl this season, rendering the 'distraction' narrative moot.

I will buy into every weird drug and science Aaron Rodgers does if he returns to play this season

If Aaron Rodgers plays football in this season, I will buy whatever drugs in every weird thing that he does immediately... I will, I will essentially just my entire life I'll be like, you know what? I was wrong. His science [might be right].

Aaron Rodgers did not play in the 2023 season after his Week 1 injury.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
