There's the really good sucky quarterback. [Matthew] Stafford is a perfect... he is an elite sucky quarterback. But you're like, if you had to ask yourself, could Matt Stafford win a Super Bowl? Answers probably no. He's right on the edge of suck. That's why he's an elite sucky quarterback. Because it's like, if you put him in the right spot, everything could go perfectly.

Stafford was traded to the Rams and immediately won Super Bowl LVI in 2022, proving he could indeed win the big one.

We're about to, I'd say, like in the next 36 to 48 hours for Jake Butt, [torn] ACL. I hope not... the NFL is a much better place when there is a guy named Butt on the back of his jersey running around making plays.

Jake Butt did not tear his ACL in this specific 48-hour window in July 2019, though he was already dealing with complications from a previous tear.

Stafford's Hall of Fame case is strong given his volume stats and Super Bowl ring, but he is not yet eligible/inducted.

I think [Stafford] could win a Super Bowl, too. Not on the Lions... but Matt Stafford in a vacuum could win a Super Bowl.

Stafford eventually won a Super Bowl with the Rams in the 2021 season, proving this correct.

It's not even close... just his entire performance leaving it like, he was so gassed that three that looked like we were talking about it, it looked like it was almost like there was a whistle beforehand because it was like in slow motion. It was just incredible.
