Rick Pitino's NCAA defense that recruits didn't like the prostitutes is absurd

He's pleading that a lot of the recruits didn't even like the prostitutes they hired. It says at least one prospect reported that this experience resulted in his disliking the university. That guy is a fucking weirdo. Rick Pitino actually got me a stripper with 36 D's so I really didn't even want to commit to Louisville.

The defense did not ultimately save Pitino from punishment; he was fired later that year after further scandals.

Atlanta is a bad sports town

Atlanta's getting dragged as we say on the internet. Everyone knows it, it's a bad sports town. It's a good sex town, but it's a bad, bad sports town. I feel like everyone's talking about how Atlanta doesn't really deserve a championship because they're a bad sports town.

This is a subjective assessment of a city's sports culture.

Winning a Masters or Daytona 500 should automatically grant you a green card and the right to vote

Langer's not even allowed to vote because he's a German national... But I think if you win a Masters, that's so American that if you have a green jacket, you should be allowed to vote. I don't care what country you're from. I want you to have a say in who our next leader is. A green jacket equals a green card. Absolutely. Or if you win a Daytona 500, I don't care what continent you're from. You're an American now.

The US government does not grant citizenship based on winning major sports tournaments.

The new 6 PM SportsCenter will be 90% conversation and only 10% traditional highlights

We have producers who enjoy and appreciate what we do... In fact, we had to give it a percentage. The six is going to be 85% to 90% of what you've seen on His and Hers and 10% some SportsCenter. And that 10% is going to feel like His and Hers. It's just going to be something that SportsCenter would have done anyway.

The SC6 era was widely characterized by the shift toward conversational, personality-based segments, though the format eventually reverted after their departure.

Pigeons are the smartest birds because they live off human trash

Pigeons might be the smartest bird. There is one... they've essentially just over the years been like, Hey, you know where we should live? Right where the people leave their trash. We don't have to hunt for anything. We don't have to go fucking diving for worms and fish... Some guy's going to eat a calzone and not finish it and we're gonna finish it. So pigeons might be the smartest bird.

While funny, avian intelligence is usually measured by tool use (crows) or problem-solving, though urban adaptation is a form of intelligence.

Barry Bonds could still play in the MLB and take a million walks because of fear

I think of that with Barry Bonds for sure. Barry Bonds I like He could just, he, he could show up and just be awesome and, and take like a million walks. 'cause people would fear him.

This is a hypothetical claim about a retired player's current ability, which is fundamentally subjective.

American air conditioning is the equivalent of 'Hunter Biden crack' for European visitors

I would imagine air conditioning for Europeans hits like crack. Like the best crack of all. Oh, hunter Biden crack. Yeah. That's like when we go over to, to Spain and we see a nude beach. Like that's, that, that feeling that we get over there is their feeling when they're walking into one of our buildings over here.

Inherently subjective and hyperbolic comparison.
