Sean McVay deserves Coach of the Year votes for winning 5 games with the 2022 Rams

For the Rams, I think we probably have to give Sean McVay a coach of the year vote because the fact they have five wins is crazy. ... I think you can just be like, 'yeah, I'm a really good football coach. I everyone got injured.'

McVay did not receive serious COTY consideration for a 5-win season, as the award usually goes to coaches of overperforming playoff teams.

Kirk Cousins is maybe clutch

I have a question for you off this game... Is Kirk Cousins maybe Clutch?

Cousins led the NFL in fourth-quarter comebacks in 2022, though he lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Justin Jefferson should be the NFL MVP

I think Justin Jefferson should be the MVP of the NFL. I'm saying that, I know it's not numbers based like Patrick Mahomes, it's always a quarterback... I think the Vikings have like four or five less wins without Justin Jefferson because he is always there for huge plays.

Patrick Mahomes won the 2022 NFL MVP.

The Giants should not sign Daniel Jones to a long-term contract

I think most Giants fans would agree that like, this is a fun season, but let's not, let's not go making like long term future. Let's not get married to each other here.

The Giants did the exact opposite, signing Jones to a massive $160 million extension in March 2023.

Ben Johnson ran the illegal play wrong on purpose

I think Ben Johnson ran it wrong on purpose to put something on tape that then he can run a variation off of it.

This is an interpretation of coaching intent that cannot be definitively verified from the game broadcast.

The Bears are good

I think the Bears are good.

Whether the 2026 Bears are 'good' is ultimately a season-level subjective assessment.

The NFL is testing its way toward Tuesday and Wednesday games

Florio basically was like the NFL is testing out putting teams three times in a row on primetime because we're going to get to a point where they start playing Tuesday and Wednesday games. And I believe it.

This can be evaluated if the NFL introduces regular Tuesday or Wednesday games as described.
