The Bears' stadium threats are just an anchoring tactic for negotiations

It's kinda like the Bears Stadium situation, which I've been saying all along. Like when they first said Arlington Heights, everyone's like, you can't move the Bears outta Chicago. Then they're like, what about Indiana? No, you can't move 'em outta state. Okay, what about Arlington Heights? Oh, that's sick. They're basically saying, Hey Carson Wentz. No, we can't have Carson Wentz. Okay, what about Gino Smith? Oh, actually that's pretty good compared to Carson Wentz. Smart.

This is a common political/business tactic often used in sports stadium deals.

Maxx Crosby to the Ravens is a great move that makes their defense scary

Congrats to the Ravens. Congrats to Jesse Minter. This is a good, a great move. Their defense is gonna be scary. I love the transition from Maxx Crosby was always meant to be playing in a badass uniform. Raiders to Ravens, it's like, okay.

The Crosby-to-Ravens trade was real when this episode aired, and the defensive fit was sound. However, the trade was rescinded days later due to a failed physical.

The Ravens are abandoning their draft-and-develop philosophy because they've drafted poorly lately

The Ravens feel like the team for however long, I mean, pretty much their entire history, it's like what they do is they draft really well. They don't have to do these type of moves. And then they do this move... maybe the Ravens haven't drafted as well recently. So now they do have to join everyone else and be these guys.

The Ravens have a three-to-four-year window with Lamar Jackson to go all in and win a Super Bowl

Are the Ravens basically saying Lamar Jackson, he's 29, he's got, we got like a three, four year window where we're gonna have to go all in here? You're kind of forking the road. Are you trying to keep your draft capital to keep reloading around Lamar Jackson? You're like, 'Hey, let's go win this right now.'

The Ravens' success in this window depends on winning a Super Bowl before Lamar Jackson hits his 30s.

Karl-Anthony Towns is the motor of the Knicks offense, not Jalen Brunson

Karl-Anthony Towns... he's the motor for this offense. You've seen his assist numbers go up. He's the most important player on the Knicks offense. It feels like. Not Jalen Brunson. Jalen Brunson obviously is your closer... But in this series it feels like how Kat goes the Knicks go.

Allowing players to bet on games they play in will destroy sports integrity

There are certain lines where it's like, if you have players who are allowed to bet on games, how can anyone trust what they're seeing? You can't. Like it's why the Jontay Porter and the [Ippei Mizuhara] cases... those are big, big issues. And the NBA comes down super hard on them.

Fans should stop arguing over which sport is better and just enjoy both the NBA and Stanley Cup Finals.

I feel bad for the people who are too proud to enjoy both hockey and basketball at the same time because we are living in blessed days. This series has been absolutely incredible... My point was that more that like the people who do the con, the Jake Marsh of the world who constantly are bitches and can't have like a thought of, Hey, I like both sports, those guys, the little brothers. My point is you don't even have to compare 'em. We don't even have to do a game by game. It's just both are great.
