The Broncos will cover -6.5 against the Seahawks in Russell Wilson's revenge game

My favorite is the Broncos minus six and a half Monday night football. I just, I feel like Russ is gonna, like, I know that obviously every game he tries, but I, this is gonna be a game that he's like, Hey Nathaniel Hackett, like, can you please showcase me throwing it deep constantly to prove what they're missing.

The Broncos lost outright 17-16 in a disaster of a game featuring the infamous 64-yard field goal attempt.

Josh Allen is better prepared than other QBs because he actually plays in the preseason

The bills played in the preseason... you saw Josh Allen go out and lead his team to touchdown drives every time he was out there, he looked very comfortable. Comfortable game looks slowed him. And that's because he is prepared.

Allen and the Bills did start the 2022 season extremely hot, looking like the most prepared team in the league.

The Raiders will win the AFC West

Raiders are winning the AFC West. I'm a believer in the ecosystem that they have over there. I think Derek Carr is, I think he's a good football player. Last year they showed a lot of mental toughness... with McDaniels and Devante Adams going over there... they were smooth.

The Raiders finished 6-11, 3rd in the AFC West, and Derek Carr was eventually benched.

The Patriots' offense will have a learning curve with Matt Patricia and Joe Judge calling plays

This is gonna be a learning experience. Calling plays on the offense side of the ball is, is very different... the rhythm of play calling and the relationship between the quarterback and play call is a fucking, that's like a skill... it hasn't looked very good in the pre-season I'm not gonna lie. [Mac Jones] just doesn't look comfortable back there.

The 2022 Patriots offense was famously dysfunctional under Matt Patricia and Joe Judge, leading to Mac Jones' regression.

The goal allowed by the US goalie was the most embarrassing possible

What about the goalie? Yeah, I mean he... that was the most embarrassing goal that I've ever seen. Possible.

While subjective, the blunder by the US goalkeeper (Freeze/Turner) was widely mocked as a 'MAC football' level mistake.

The USMNT is the 'James Franklin Penn State' of soccer

People were making very mean jokes online that we were James Franklin, Penn State. And it is actually perfectly appropriate because if you look at who we played, we beat the teams we're supposed to beat... and then we absolutely got ass fucked by the team that was better than us in Belgium. We are not who we thought we were.

Subjective comparison.

We just suck at soccer as a country and that's okay

My take is we suck at soccer and that's okay. Like, I don't care that we suck at soccer anymore. I'm going to root for the US team. I'm gonna get excited when we're in a World Cup. I'm gonna get hyped up and it's gonna be fun to watch. And then I'm gonna be reminded that we suck at soccer and that it's just gonna be like, okay, yeah, that's okay.

Subjective perspective on American soccer.
