This team [the Nets] is going to be one of the best teams in the East and also one of the most combustible teams in the East because I do not think these guys will get along.

The Nets tenure for KD and Kyrie was defined by off-court drama, vaccine mandates, and trade requests. Both superstars were traded away within four years without making it past the second round.

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are the two NBA personalities least likely to get along long-term

Having Kyrie and KD together, those are the two personalities I think are least likely to get along. It's going to be great.

While they did 'get along' personally, their tenure together was a professional disaster that ended in a total blow-up of the roster.

Every team in the NBA would have offered Kevin Durant a max contract except for the Knicks

If every team in the NBA had the ability to offer a max contract to Kevin Durant, every single team would give him a max contract. And the Knicks. They're the last team.

While hyperbolically stated, most insiders agreed that the vast majority of the league would have maxed Durant despite the injury, making the Knicks' stance unique/laughable.

Jimmy Butler's move to Miami is perfect because he just wants to be himself and doesn't care about competing for titles

J-Butt in Miami, which I think it's kind of solid. It's almost the perfect J-Butt move... He just wants to be J-Butt and... be with Mark Wahlberg... But now he's on a team that's not really going to compete, but he's going to have a good time.

Butler led the Heat to two NBA Finals appearances (2020, 2023), proving he was extremely interested in competing at the highest level.

They're the best team at baseball all year, and they proved it. They absolutely decimated the Dodgers.

The Brewers had reached the World Series and were described in the episode as having the best regular season; whether they were definitively the best team is partly subjective.

A 24-team playoff is ruining college football

We're moving to a 24-team playoff. It just sucks. We don't need 24 teams. Twelve is probably a stretch already. What made college football special was the regular season mattered so much.

Whether playoff expansion improves or harms college football is an evaluative judgment.
