The Jordan Poole contract is the worst in sports history because it destroyed the Warriors' chemistry

I think you could make the argument that the Jordan Poole contract was the worst contract ever given out in all of sports. Not just because of the money given to Jordan Poole, but what it did to the rest of the team. Because that was like Klay watching that. Draymond watching that. It like screwed up the whole vibes of everything.

Whether it's the 'worst ever' is subjective, but its role in the end of the Warriors dynasty is a widely debated basketball take.

Paul George to the Sixers is destined to end in tragic heartbreak

Paul George is the big ticket in the NBA free agency and this is going to be so, so good when they flame out of the playoffs. I just don't see how this is gonna end in anything but tragic heartbreak for Max.

The 76ers finished 24-58 and missed the playoffs entirely. Embiid played only 19 games before knee surgery. The Paul George/Embiid/Maxey experiment was a disaster, confirming the 'tragic heartbreak' prediction.

The Sixers must make the NBA Finals or beat the Celtics within the next two years for the Paul George signing to be a success

It's a two year window to at least make we have to at least make a finals. Make a finals play for. NBA finals beat the Celtics NBA finals. We have to beat the Celtics one of these next two years.

Max stated that the Philadelphia 76ers needed to either make the NBA Finals or beat the Boston Celtics within the next two years (2024-2025 or 2025-2026 seasons). While the 76ers did not make the NBA Finals in either season, they did defeat the Boston Celtics in seven games in the first round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs, fulfilling the condition of beating the Celtics within the specified timeframe.

[James Harden] is probably the problem, James. I've seen enough close up with my own two eyes to know that maybe I should not trust what you're saying about [the Sixers front office].
