The Texans will win a game this year where they are 10-point underdogs

Watch out for the Texans. They will win a game where they are 10 point underdogs this year... they will be a game where they will, they'll be like 10, 12 point underdogs. They'll win the game.

The Texans beat the Titans in Week 16 as roughly 3-5 point underdogs, and the Colts in Week 18 as 3 point underdogs. They did not pull a 10+ point upset in 2022.

Frank Reich is officially on the hot seat and could be the first coach fired

I think Frank Reich is officially on the hot seat... nothing tells you that more than the quotes that he had after the game... I don't know what—I do think Frank Reich is now up there for coach to be fired first.

Frank Reich was fired on November 7, 2022. While Matt Rhule was actually the first coach fired (Oct 10), Reich was fired mid-season shortly after.

The Bears should run the triple option because nobody can defend it in pro football

The Bears should run the triple option. People would not be able to defend the triple option... you can't tell me that teams would want to play the triple option in pro football.

The Bears didn't switch to a full triple option, though Fields' rushing became a major part of the offense later that season. They finished 3-14.

The Giants are a borderline playoff team if they get a few bounces

I'm a believer in the Giants with a couple bounces here and there being like a borderline playoff [team]. They can be feisty.

The Giants did indeed make the playoffs and even won a Wild Card game against the Vikings.

The goal allowed by the US goalie was the most embarrassing possible

What about the goalie? Yeah, I mean he... that was the most embarrassing goal that I've ever seen. Possible.

While subjective, the blunder by the US goalkeeper (Freeze/Turner) was widely mocked as a 'MAC football' level mistake.

The USMNT is the 'James Franklin Penn State' of soccer

People were making very mean jokes online that we were James Franklin, Penn State. And it is actually perfectly appropriate because if you look at who we played, we beat the teams we're supposed to beat... and then we absolutely got ass fucked by the team that was better than us in Belgium. We are not who we thought we were.

Subjective comparison.

We just suck at soccer as a country and that's okay

My take is we suck at soccer and that's okay. Like, I don't care that we suck at soccer anymore. I'm going to root for the US team. I'm gonna get excited when we're in a World Cup. I'm gonna get hyped up and it's gonna be fun to watch. And then I'm gonna be reminded that we suck at soccer and that it's just gonna be like, okay, yeah, that's okay.

Subjective perspective on American soccer.
