Wisconsin Football will be bad for at least the next five to seven years

I'm starting to think now they're gonna be bad for five to seven years minimum. And if they just keep going down this path, it's gonna be a decade. To the sunk cost fallacy of essentially saying, we made a mistake... let's throw more money at it.

This prediction will take years to resolve based on the program's winning percentage and conference standing.

George Springer is the most clutch postseason hitter of the last 15 years

George Springer does it again. Maybe the most clutch postseason hitter of the last, what, 15 years? Third all-time in postseason home runs now, which is pretty crazy.

George Springer currently trails only Manny Ramirez and Jose Altuve in postseason home runs, making the claim statistically grounded.

The Blue Jays have no shot at beating the Dodgers in the World Series

I think [the Blue Jays] got no shot... I just don't think they have the—the Dodgers are too good. They don't have the pitching. [Kevin] Gausman would be [the Dodgers'] fifth starter.

The Blue Jays did have a shot and nearly beat the Dodgers in the 2025 World Series, pushing it to 7 games before losing 5-4 in 11 innings of Game 7.

The Lions are officially 'back' after their decisive win over the Buccaneers

The Lions defense was, they were, they was getting after [Baker Mayfield]... Hutchinson was getting after him and hitting him. I feel like the Lions are officially back, back, back.

The Lions followed up their 2023 success with another deep run in 2024, confirming they were indeed 'back' as a powerhouse.

The goal allowed by the US goalie was the most embarrassing possible

What about the goalie? Yeah, I mean he... that was the most embarrassing goal that I've ever seen. Possible.

While subjective, the blunder by the US goalkeeper (Freeze/Turner) was widely mocked as a 'MAC football' level mistake.

The USMNT is the 'James Franklin Penn State' of soccer

People were making very mean jokes online that we were James Franklin, Penn State. And it is actually perfectly appropriate because if you look at who we played, we beat the teams we're supposed to beat... and then we absolutely got ass fucked by the team that was better than us in Belgium. We are not who we thought we were.

Subjective comparison.

We just suck at soccer as a country and that's okay

My take is we suck at soccer and that's okay. Like, I don't care that we suck at soccer anymore. I'm going to root for the US team. I'm gonna get excited when we're in a World Cup. I'm gonna get hyped up and it's gonna be fun to watch. And then I'm gonna be reminded that we suck at soccer and that it's just gonna be like, okay, yeah, that's okay.

Subjective perspective on American soccer.
