San Francisco 49ers fans are the scariest in the NFL

I'm gonna go as far as to say, as the Niners fans are maybe the scariest fans... I work with a gentleman who is a 49ers fan and every Monday morning he's a large man... heavily tattooed. And he just, just every Monday morning he gets in my face... Niners man. So they're a little scary they're fans.

Subjective opinion on fan behavior.

Patrick Mahomes will regret the 10-year contract he signed with the Chiefs

As first reported on Pardon My Take, I think the day that Patrick Mahomes signed his contract, he's going to regret that contract in like three years.

While Mahomes' average annual value was surpassed by newer contracts (Wilson, Murray, Rodgers), he remains the best player in the league and hasn't expressed regret, nor has the deal hindered his winning.

Pitt is overrated heading into the Backyard Brawl

I'm just going to say Pitt's overrated. I think Pit's overrated.

Pitt won the game 38-31 in a close battle, though they were favorites. They finished the season 9-4, which is respectable, though they weren't elite.

Pitt won 38-31. The spread was -7.5, so they won but did NOT cover.

Winning a championship feels better than the 'emptiness' Joe Mazzulla describes

Coach Mazzulla in his press conference said something about feeling empty when he won and feeling empty when he lost. ... I'm not a psychiatrist, but winning feels better. It's just my take.

This is a subjective emotional comparison, though most people would agree winning is preferable.

Is this a workplace relationship? I believe under that [NFL] umbrella. I can't imagine that HR is not involved in this situation.

Technically they have different employers (The Athletic/New York Times vs. New England Patriots), but the 'conflict of interest' is a journalistic standard rather than a standard HR workplace rule.

Saquon Barkley 'fucked' the fantasy team and wasn't clutch

Barkley's performance is a matter of fantasy record, but the assessment of him 'fucking' the team is Jerry's opinion.
