The College Football Playoff will eventually expand to 24 teams

I do think we'll eventually land on 24. ... If you only have 12, we're gonna get to a point where at least half of every major conference feels like they just don't have access. Well, what makes them invest $25 million a year in their roster like that?

The playoff currently stands at 12 teams in 2026; we will see if expansion continues.

The USMNT has a massive drop-off in talent between the starters and the backups

I will say that our, our second stringers, there's a pretty big fall off between the talent level of our starters and I'd say most of our, our backups, especially on the defensive end. It was not, it didn't, it didn't look inspiring. Yeah, we are, we are not a deep, deep team.

The take is a subjective evaluation of team depth.

Trading LaMelo Ball to the Timberwolves makes them the most interesting team in the NBA

I think it, it instantly makes the Timberwolves like the most interesting team. Yeah. Because I have no idea what the fuck is gonna happen with this combination.

Whether a team is 'most interesting' is entirely subjective.

There will not be a Major League Baseball season next year because of the CBA negotiations

Next up, we're just not gonna have baseball next year. ... In its next CBA, the league is proposing a max contract. The length of five years for free agent players switching teams, six years to retain their own players. No deferred contracts. ... It just feels like we're so far away. I don't know.

Pending the outcome of the MLB CBA negotiations for the upcoming season.

The current era of college football is at its highest quality and interest level ever

College football is amazing right now. The product has never been better. Interest has never been higher. And we got a bunch of teams that could go win a national championship.

While interest can be measured by ratings, the 'quality' of the product is subjective.

Teams must spend at least $28 million on NIL to realistically compete for a championship

I don't think that you can realistically compete for a national championship unless you're spending at a minimum $28 million.

The financial transparency of NIL makes this hard to verify precisely, but it's a verifiable industry claim.

Penn State's extremely favorable schedule should easily get them to 10 wins and a shot at the Big 10 title

Penn State schedule. Guys, if you look at it, that's a 10 win schedule. Easy. And maybe more, you know, so even though I don't know if they're the best team in the Big 10, I think that they're gonna have a real chance to compete for a spot in that Big 10 championship game.

Pending Penn State's final regular season record.
