The Atlanta Falcons are the world champions of losing

They [Falcons] are right now the world champions of losing. I just look into the curse to try to figure out what's going on there... the cursor courage is put on yourself by bad performance becomes habitual it becomes wedding just like losing is a habit.

Subjective, but the Falcons have continued to have a reputation for high-probability losses since this take.

Blake Bortles will take the starting job from Jeff Driskel in Denver

Let me be perfectly clear Blake Bortles is getting the starting job. I don't think that there's any question about that.

Bortles was signed but never played for Denver; Jeff Driskel and then Brett Rypien/Drew Lock handled the starts.

The Saints are being held back by Drew Brees

Do you think Saints fans realize it that it's over or do you think they're still holding onto? Oh, The Saints are good enough, which they do have a great roster, but they're being held back by their quarterback. And this isn't just this year. This has been the last like year and a half. It's much more evident right now though.

Brees retired after this season, and the Saints' offensive limitations were a major storyline in their playoff loss to Tampa Bay.

The Saints should start Jameis Winston right now

Unleash Jameis Winston. I got a Meraki I I disagree with you on the Michael Thomas thing... the time is now it is Jameis a clock in New Orleans.

Winston did not start until the following year after Brees retired.

Justin Tucker will be the greatest kicker ever if he continues his current path

If [Tucker] continues on this path, he'll be the greatest ever. I hate to say that cause I was pretty good, but... I think Justin Tucker is kicking around 90 like for his career. 92%? That's an insane number.

Tucker is widely considered the most accurate kicker in NFL history, though 'greatest' remains a subjective career-long debate.

The NFL will eventually see a 70-yard field goal in a game

We're gonna see a 70 yard field goal. I think I feel like I set that two or three years ago... The 60 yard is like the new 50 and the 70 yards gonna be like the new 60.

Jaguars kicker Cam Little hit a 70-yard field goal in a preseason game (Aug 2025) and a 68-yard field goal in the regular season (Nov 2025, longest in NFL regular season history). However, the 70-yarder was in preseason and doesn't count in official NFL records, so technically a 70-yard field goal in an official game has not yet occurred.

NFL kickers are now expected to be 100% accurate inside 40 yards

I mean, I make 50, 40 yards and in. You make a hundred percent. You have to in the NFL, you cannot miss inside 40 yards ever.

While the expectation is high, kickers still miss inside 40 yards occasionally due to weather, blocks, or human error, though league-wide accuracy is at historic highs.
