Being Canadian is a major advantage when traveling because people automatically assume you are nice

Being Canadian, it is nice when you travel, especially to other countries. Like already people are like, when you say you're Canadian, you already get the benefit of doubt where they're like, oh, you're Canadian, so you have to be nice. ... already have that negative connotation of thinking [Americans] might be a piece of shit.

Subjective social observation, though widely corroborated as a common stereotype.

Ronda Rousey is likely the greatest female MMA fighter of all time

John Malkovich and a little someone called Ronda Rousey—probably heard of her. She's the best women's MMA fighter of all time, maybe, who knows.

While Rousey was a pioneer, many now consider Amanda Nunes the GOAT given her longevity and titles in two divisions.

Kevin Durant is thin-skinned but owning up to it makes him relatable

[Durant] can be a thin-skinned B-word, and he also can be very real and actually kind of owning up to the fact that he's a thin-skinned B-word, which I do respect. It makes him so much more relatable. The fact that he deals with the same problems that we deal with.

Relatability is subjective, but Durant's public persona as someone who argues with fans and peers online became a hallmark of his late-2010s career.

Kevin Durant should be the new 'White Whale' guest for PMT

People always ask our white whale once we got J.J. Watt. Now Kevin Durant's our white whale. It's got to be. Kevin Durant is now in a position where I really do think if he came on, it would be a win for him.

Durant has never appeared on PMT as of mid-2024, maintaining his status as an uncaptured 'white whale'.

The Toronto Maple Leafs hiring John Chayka as GM is laughable given his track record

to get the the the one of the biggest, if not the biggest jobs in hockey as far as the general manager with the track record he has is laughable. Listen, maybe he ends up going on to have success. But to get... the biggest jobs in hockey... with the track record he has is laughable.

The hire was highly controversial in the hockey community, but its ultimate success will be judged by the Leafs' playoff performance.

John Chayka is a 'snake oil salesman' who lost his credibility in the NHL

I've talked to 20 people around the league and 19 of 'em have told me that this guy has no credibility. He's a snake, snake oil salesman. He's full of and just basically like like question completely question the guy's character.

Chayka's reputation in the league is a matter of widely reported controversy, making Biz's characterization consistent with many reports.

Gavin McKenna will be a phenom in the NHL

Gavin McKenna... who a kid I wanna follow. He's gonna be, I think he's gonna be a phenom. I'm gonna follow wherever he goes. Well now I don't get to follow him... because I'm sure the Leafs are gonna draft him.

McKenna is widely considered the top prospect for his draft class and a future NHL star.
